Ty Dillon
Robert Tyler Dillon is an American singer, songwriter, and producer. Brought up in Texas, Dillon played music all throughout his childhood, most often performing in his church and as a drummer in a rock band called “First Heal”. After leaving Dallas Baptist University to chase his music dreams, he moved to San Marcos where he released his debut country album, Sunsets and Pickups, in 2015.
Four years later, Dillon teamed up with Garrett Loggins to release a 15 track, concept album called The Story Of A Kid With Heart. The album captures Dillon’s taste for catchy country hooks paired with Loggins’ rock riffs and shiny guitar melodies. The development of this album dawned a new era in Dillon’s writing and production style that is geared more towards authenticity.
After several single releases in 2020 and 2021, Ty Dillon heads into 2022 expecting a full length album release that highlights a raw, traditional country sound and the same dark soulful edge of 2019.
On the stage, Dillon shares the spotlight with his band, who some know as Six Echo. They travel Texas to make their names known to small and large audiences alike.
“My band and I have an important story to share that we believe everybody can relate to. It’s a story of a finding yourself, finding your destiny, and doing what you can to realize that destiny.”
Dillon continues, “Music is a tool that I use to share my message of hope. People seem to be constantly searching for a way to escape reality, and we are here to say that you don’t need to escape when you have hope”.
