Dead Leg’s new single “Chaise Longue” punches.
Chaise Longue immediately hits you with it’s punk sensibilities, writing off college in one fail swoop calling a degree “the big D” designed just to screw over students. The deadpan humor is immediately exciting and engaging. There’s a lurking Patti Smith energy, mixed with the Ramones almost, that’s completely infectious, and you can’t help but toe tap along. A first entry from the band Wet Leg, and I’m very excited to hear what their next entry will be!
