Minneapolis musician and producer Sweet and Lonely drops silky new R&B-infused Bedroom-Pop single
Sweet and Lonely hits his mark with this blend of classic style R&B and dreamy bedroom pop vocalization. This track reminds one greatly of classic R&B albums like Songs in the Key of Life and What’s Going On, for the chime into heavy bass groove style beat. That being said, Sweet and Lonely doesn’t use this influence as a crutch, in fact he’s able to create an effortlessly modern tone, by building so casually off of a strong core melody. A chill anthem that provides a strong beat with a backbone, and doesn’t rely on any lazy trap gimmicks to catch attention. This track feels genuinely authentic because it balances a retro sound with an incredibly relevant tone, weaving these two worlds together with brevity and grace.
