Pallbearer, described by the band themselves as a “Happy song about death”, channels the quarter life angst that comes with trying to branch out and experience everything you can before it’s too late. In their own way however, Carver Commodore is able to take a subject that would normally be morbid and make it into a fun filled call to action for the audience with plenty of humor; by making death as common as brushing your teeth. “Guess we’re all going to die, so we might as well live,” a great sentiment personified by even better music. And if you’re looking for the icing on the cake check out the music video for this song, by far one of the funniest music videos I’ve seen all year. Cheers guys!
